DIRECTIONS TO THE HOUSE OF SELF EMPOWERMENT: Escazu (San Rafael de) - ON Calle Vieja

COMING FROM SANTA ANA • CALLE COUNTRY CLUB:
We're the FIRST DRIVEWAY EAST of/after the street light (75 meters East of Calle Country Club)

COMING FROM SAN JOSE:
700 meters East of the Scotia Split/Mas x Menos

On the North side of Calle Vieja (the Old Road). It is LITERALLY - DIRECTLY IN FRONT of CAFE TORINO (in Plaza del Rio) & the SMALL Plaza del Rio SIGN (also home to Cafe Te Con Te).

There are 3 columns of rocks with 2 entrances. One will be a locked gate (the parking lot for Embrujo Floresteria) & the other the entrance down a BAD dirt driveway onto the LUSH MAGICAL grounds/ Quinta where Vicki's House of Self Empowerment is.

Go STRAIGHT BACK 100 meters/300 feet to the split/fork in the driveway/grass & veer to the RIGHT - to the ORANGE HOUSE (aka Casa Naranja / Casa de Vicki which is what local taxi's know it as).

Cross over the broken bamboo bridge & park on the grass - with your nose facing forward, making as much room for other cars.


TAKING A BUS:
FROM SAN JOSE: Take the BLUE "Santa Ana-Calle Vieja" bus from inside the Coca-Cola Bus Terminal & get off at Calle Country Club. Walk back 75 meters, crossing over the little yellow bridge. There's an iron trash box & then our driveway.

COMING FROM SANTA ANA: Take the same bus to the Calle Country Club stop. Go straight 50 meters, cross over the little yellow bridge, then cross the street & I'm the FIRST driveway (on the NORTH side of the street).


NOTE: We're no longer allowed to put balloons out on the street (this is a hidden paradise where we have NO shut gate, NO guard - nada!! Where the neighbors feel safe with that but since more "things" are happenin' these days - for our safety, the owners are wanting to keep it that way hence the descretion so it's REALLY IMPORTANT that YOU stay REAL conscious to these directions!!

I'll put a BIG YELLOW BAG on top of the trash box (hopefully it will still be there).

Welcome to ‘A Celebration of Harmony’

…a concert that offers peace, joy and harmony through music to enhance these qualities within ourselves, with each other, with Mother Earth. We celebrate that we can choose this!

Having played minimally together and with the music primarily intuitive & improvised, what is required of the musicians is to step out to the edge with open hearted trust, surrender & presence. The reward is adventure, freedom, joy & pure magic.

We ask for cell phones to be turned off, also please no applause once the performance has begun until indicated at the very end. This powerfully enhances what we are creating here tonight (and beyond).

We wish to offer our appreciation to Leonardo Cordero for his vision to combine samjjana with Costa Rican musicians for the benefit of audiences here. This concert has grown out of that original inspired vision.

10% of tonight’s profits goes towards the purchase of much needed physiotherapy equipment for the brain damaged children at Magdala orphanage. Further donations needed. Eckart 8-834-7924 / Maribel 2-271-4337.
