This is JORGE - THE BEST Bus Driver I've EVER had (NOT a great picture as he's mui guapo/handsome & all smiley/happy!!)!! In my 4+ years of doing Visa Runs every 90 days to Nicaragua, this was the FIRST TIME a driver insisted we all stay IN the bus with the air-conditioning vs standing out for 1+ hours in the BLAZING sun!!! They've also cancelled the bus stop at "the cruz/cross" that goes to San Juan del Sur - but Jorge stopped for me (guess he saw me gimping up & down on/off the bus with my knee with the torn meniscus & ligament & felt sorry for me - especially with all my bags!!).

It's drivers like Jorge (& Alejandro in the office who speaks English so he's a contact to have when you call into the office to reserve your seat. He tends to work till 11am so best to try Alejandro early) that keep me taking TransNica because of the level of Customer Service I've ALWAYS received from them!!!

Something I LOVE but RARELY have - a standard Costa Rican•Tico Breakfast•Desayuno staple - FRIED CHEESE!!! This was LITERALLY THE BEST Fried Cheese I'd EVER HAD & just 400-colones (about 80¢!) for 2 THICK PERFECTLY Cooked (by MY standards) pieces of Costa Rican cheese!

Waiting, Waiting & MORE Waiting for the Aduana•Customs Guy to come!

I kept this picture in to show a SMALL portion of how many buses were in at the SAME time we were there entering Nicaragua!! I counted 8 at one point - hence the border crossing took 2 hours & 15 minutes this time (45 minutes in the Exiting Costa Rica side & 1-1/2 hours in the Nicaraguan side [which included the usual LONG wait for the Aduana•Customs guy to come out & flag us on]).
