What a cool/smart marketing idea for a winery & a restaurant to offer - to make special labels like this that you give to the restaurants or businesses that sell your wine.
I'd add your name on the label so when pictures are taken - YOU get that extra plug.
As a Marketing person - I'd do something like a sketch of the winery (that MIGHT make them think this is a place they can visit/tour) or something pretty (about wine) with the name discretely incorporated into it so there's no question where it's from (I wouldn't do just a logo as very few logos are identifiable by your average person). I'd put it at the TOP so hands are not covering it up as they are here. Actually, to ensure no one cutting your info off the top of your label with your name on it, I'd have a faint image in the background with the name on it - & then "Will You Marry Me" over it really bold (NOT covering the winery's name).
I'd make sure that YOUR logo or name is on it somewhere so the restaurant isn't just randomly giving it out when people are purchasing bottles from other wineries!!
Since creating such labels are easy/cost hardly anything, I'd even put the name of the restaurant at the bottom - they'd LOVE & appreciate THAT!!
Then when the guy (or whomever is proposing since we ARE in the 21st century) calls the restaurant to say he's proposing, the restaurant can offer to add this for free if they order one of YOUR BOTTLES (hence why I'd make sure YOUR name is on it).
This is also a win-win marketing idea for the restaurants as they can then promote that they have special Engagement (Birthday or whatever) Packages with other goodies (in this day & age of people not having as much disposable income - coming up with hooks is extra important!! [& the more unique the better!!])
I'd be clear to instruct the restaurant to place the label on the BACK of the bottle so it's not covering up your regular label (so years later they can easily see what exact bottle they had purchased since of course they're going to keep such a keepsake bottle & remember you forever & maybe even displaying it [& hopefully keep buying that wine on anniversaries & other times - make that their FAVORITE wine - like "THEIR Song"])!!
Hey - after they drink that bottle, the restaurant can even put a taper candle in it - making it a romantic showpiece on their table while they're eating (though I'm sure many propose AFTER their meal eh???)!!!
You could even create other labels that people can get for free with purchase of bottles at the winery or order online - "Happy Birthday", "Happy Anniversary" - "Happy Divorce" - "Happy 21st Birthday" that you'd give to all locations selling your wine - &/or online where they can get a label of their choice (or multiple) for Free with a case or something.
OR - On your website have a button where they can print up (it just won't have the glue-y stuff on it but they can figure that out)! They could even customize it with their name &/or date on it - or even color of it!
