N M - Casa Inti Guesthouse - Managua Nicaragua
For my stay in Managua Nicaragua where I went for a bunch of medical tests I chose to stay at CASA INTI - for a few reasons:

SHORT VERSION:
Price, Location, Pool, Hot Water Shower, Good WiFi, Great Hosts, Great Location (especially to Hospital Metropolitano Vivían Pellas since I was going for a bunch of tests), very clean.
MEGA DETAILED VERSION:
PRICE: #1 - They have a NICE "Shared Room" (dorm) with a bunk bed & 2 twin beds - for just $10/n (I had to myself!!) & there's a door in the room that opens to a nice POOL).
#2 - LOCATION: Leyla & her hubby Inti are there to help along with their precious 1-1/2 year old son Thiago who can't help but bring a smile to your face - in their lovely 9 room family home that surrounded by lush green of this very safe neighborhood of Colinas - a very upscale area with many beautiful homes & embassy's.
They're happy to help you with transportation be it a taxi to go nearby or for touring.
It truly feels like you're staying with family!
(NOTE: Thiago is very unobtrusive & well behaved!)
They're just 8 minutes from Hospital Metropolitano Vivían Pellas (about a 80-100-cord taxi ride) where I was getting a bunch of tests (via their AMAZING MediMas Discount medical plan program - INCREDIBLE PRICES like Doctors visits just $5!!! POOL . - Nice large pool that's just warm enough for my body (I'm a wimp). LOTS of tables, chairs & chaise lounges around the pool & even a Rancho with some hammocks!! The pool is VERY welcoming as Managua s HOT HOT HOT!!!
SHOWERS: HOT WATER (NOT so easy to find in this price range especially)!!!! & spacious showers.
SHARED ROOM #1: Normally when I travel I bring my own sheet & pillow but since I was going for just one night from San Juan del Sur & didn't want to bring more than just my day backpack - I didn't!
Their sheets were AWESOME!! Very soft/sensuous.
The bed was literally one of the most comfortable I've been in (& I've slept in a LOT of beds [I do travel writing & pet sitting - hahaha]).
There's even a private bathroom with a spacious shower in the Shared room (all rooms have their own private bathroom)
There was nice air-flow so I didn't need the floor fan much (though it IS HOT in Managua eh!!).
WiFi worked really well from my bed (where I work from) & throughout the house.
AIR-CONDITIONING: Each room has an air-conditioner that you can use for just +$3 a day more (I find lots of places charge +$10/day as electricity is VERY expensive in Nicaragua) - but I didn't need it.
COMMON SPACES: 3 nice common inside spaces • a large pool area with lots of tables, chairs, chaise lounges • an outdoor Rancho with a couple hammocks & table/chairs.
Nice Tranquilo jazz style music plays in the background of the Common areas during the day.
They also have GAMES for guests to enjoy!
COFFEE & TEA: Out between 7:30-9:30am-ish
VERY CLEAN
OPTION FOR BREAKFAST: $4
PARKING
CHECK-OUT: No need to rush - enjoy the pool, sleep in - as check-out isn't until 12pm
PETS: 1 lovable inside Cat (Amokachi) & 1 outside Dog (Gordo) (no additional pets)
RATES:
Private Rooms with Private Bathroom range from $22-$33 & ALL rooms have a private bathroom.
Shared Room with Private Bathroom - $10/per person.
SUMMARY:
This is a great home for people liking a relaxing chill time!
