  • Isn't that Bamboo Bird Feeder BB made COOL?!?!?!?!! I've counted at least 20 different birds - even 2+ BEAUTIFUL BoBo's/MotMot birds (THE #1 reason I had the feeder made!!) and our friendly squirrel "Spaz" & 4-5 other friends of his!!

How many BoBo's can you see here (hint - 2), Other birds (1), Squirrels (1).

All birds, etc. roam FREE at the House of CONNECTIONS Guesthouse (that has to do with my issue of not wanting anyone to "capture" me)!!

  • Our Mascot - One of the BEAUTIFUL BoBo's (aka a MotMot) on our feeder. Proof that you don't have to cage animals in to get them to want to be with you!! Every morning I get up & if he's not already waiting for me, I call out "Mr. BoBo, Bananas" & 95% of the time, within 2 minutes, he comes from wherever he is for his bananas! Followed by about 10-15 other birds (unfortunately, also 4-5 squirrels also [aka "Banditos" because they eat all the paharos/birds bananas!!)

  • I had this created by one of the workers where I used to live - BB. This design can have multi-purposes! I used it as a bird/squirrel feeder (hours of entertainment!).

OR, You can grow herbs, lettuce, flowers & all sorts of stuff (all depending on how big the bamboo is).

You can also get vine-y things like beans which will also create a privacy barrier!!

Another trick I learned is instead of putting rocks at the bottom of the dirt (to help with drainage), break up a bunch of styrofoam things (to-go boxes, coffee cups+)!! (best not to do it with food related things if you're concerned with being organic, etc.)

You can hang this from a roof or ceiling or hang it from a wall. If you drill holes in the bottom for drainage, you'll need to put it outside. If not, you can put this inside.

  • This is the King of the roust - Mr. BoBo!!! Most mornings I step out onto the patio & there's my BoBo Buddy!! If he's not there, 95% of the time all I have to do is call "Mr. BoBo - Bananas!!" & he usually comes within 2 minutes!! It's not unusual to have THREE BoBo's (MotMots) hanging around the patio/trees/bamboo feeder!
