There really is no escaping history. • Don't forget that about 90% of academic historians are liberal. They become liberal by studying American history, not because of the bias of textbooks or teachers. I know because it happened to me! The more I studied US history, the more certain I became that conservative ideals were bad ideas that were kept in play by and for the benefit of the oligarchs who were trying to swallow up America.
